Life isn’t fair on most days. There is a long depression. You feel fatigued, apathy in trying anything new. Tasks lay unattended, dust layers cover your dreams. Today’s optimism doesn’t find any rationale to move forward. All around you, there is a cover of depressing and grim news. Some concerns your near and dear ones. You feel burdened, back is hunched under the weight. You suddenly find difficulty breathing. But you are a warrior and you start fighting back, slowly, though knowing it’s a lost battle.
All of a sudden the sunlight makes its way to fall on to your desk. Lighting a patch, a bird chirps in distance. You feel the gust of cold air against your face. A hot cup of coffee and a cigarette. Now you are again exuberant, willing to push the envelope a bit more. One more contract, a bit of sketch, some more writings and social media posts, maybe a solitary walk in the garden, looking at the mating of rabbits, thinking of destiny, a new script.
Life will end , but let me try to end it on my terms.
