Sambhu Mitra, a seasoned politician dies of an accident. Police thought that it was more of an engineered accident., and Ritu, the young inspector was put in charge. The motives get complex, when it was found that he had three wives in 3 different cities of India. Apart from one, each wife was unaware of the other. While investigation is on, Sambhu’s latest girl friend crops up, whom he had promised to marry.and divorce all the others. Only Sambhu died the earlier night of his supposed announcement of the last engagement.  A web of lies, marital discord, broken dreams, internal politics and above all the dominance of the inspiring organ of Sambhu is led bare before Ritu.
