In a nursing home, with broken limbs a man lies on a bed. There are plasters at different places of the body. Yesterday at night, for an unknown reason he had jumped from his 2nd floor and had fractured his right led and left arm with some bruises in different parts of the body. In the afternoon one of his close friends came to see him.

The patient asked,” What exactly happened last night ?”

His friend told him,” Yesterday we are celebrating your birthday on the terrace of your house. We were drinking scotch atter the cake cutting.”

” I remember so far. What happened after that ?”

” You fell due to own mistake. After the clock struck twelve, you said God has endowed you with a special power on that birthday. Whenever you want you can fly like a bird.”

The patienrt did not remember †his part. His eyes expanded in astonishment and he said,” My God ! What happened next ?”

” Once Manik and Balai heard that you can fly they laid a bait tbat you’re lying. No man can fly like a bird. When you heard this you flew in a rage. At once you stood up on the terrace boundary and streching both your arms you dropped to the ground floor.”

The patient looked at his friend for some time, probably to fathom what he is saying and then in a low voice accussed him,” But you were also there. Why didn’t you prevent me ? “

With Manik and Balai I had also kept a bait of Rs.50 on that you can really fly. I wanted to see you flying.”
